It’s a gateway to swinging. Just like role play events like murder mystery nights.

that's retarded

it's one day out of the year and most adults just do it to be in theme with their kids anyway.

not sure why what other people do causes you to melt down so much

i'm going as mr. krabs this year, and my lil ones are gonna be spongebob and plankton.

Typically children enjoy these two. Adults enjoy ash wednesday and Ken Burns documentaries. You'll understand if/when you grow up.

I serious wonder whether you have any friends.

I like dressing up for Halloween parties.

Sometimes it helps in getting laid. Only reason I would do it.

And what’s the deal with camping? Why don’t adults just stay in a cabin?

Throwing on a cheapo skeleton/cartoon costume to go with your kid? Harmless.

Middle age adults who spend hundreds of dollars on their costumes? That’s pretty weird to me.

I don’t think adults who dress up are going door to door for candy. You must be a hoot at parties.

Mardi Gras is really going to suffer when people start following your logic.

That is all.....but esp if you’re a grown male shopping for a Halloween costume.

GFY

Imagine being this much of a bitch that you have to type out a thread on a message board because you don't like people having fun.

Last year I attended a Halloween party dressed up as Lady Geh-Gah. I felt so alive and free, I did not take off the costume for two days.

Some people just enjoy being miserable.

I never put on a costume for Halloween and have a great time. I hate dressing up for any reason: costume on Halloween, suit and tie for work, etc, etc. Not miserable at all.

If I've learned nothing else from this board I have learned for sure that a lot of people go through life looking for things to be miserable about.
