Can you give me the slick on AEW and Punk? I’m watching 90s nostalgia(last time I watched a Raw). But I saw Arn in there and now CM Punk is coming back sometime. And Sting is wrestling with good ole JR and Tony calling it.

AEW is trying to be the "wrestling" company... compared to WWE's "sports entertainment"

they're definitely trying to focus on in-ring more... combining a lot of old and new

quote:

Are they going to build up Colt and have him and CM work/shoot type thing? That would be tight.

I would bet against a Punk/Colt program currently... but who knows... they might eventually go there

quote:

Anyway-what’s the next “thing” with AEW? They seem to know what is cool.

CM Punk & Daniel Bryan are both inbound to AEW... Punk this week... Bryan within the next month

but the next big star is "Hangman" Adam Page... he should be the next babyface champion... just untimely with his wife set to give birth to their 1st child right in the middle of his ascent to the title storyline

quote:

Every time I watch a match I can’t ever predict the winners.

if you follow the story... there's a good number of times where you can predict the winner... but AEW knows how to make predictable fun

quote:

It’s interesting and fun and neutral so shoot. Is Punk really coming back or is he swerving?

Punk better be there Friday or else AEW's going to lose a lot of the good credit it's built up over the last 3 years

Better set 4 hours aside again.

ETA: I'm going to add this here via edit so the thread doesn't get bumped to the top again. I'll repost in the SD thread if Little Dawg's scrimmage is over before the end of Rampage/if I don't forget. I'm calling Corbin cashing in on Roman and winning the title via pinfall at SummerSlam. (I believe Big E was my golden pick for the men's case at SS so I win some points if either of them cash it in. ) Oh and now that I think of it...I believe with the way the Golden Briefcase rules are worded, there is a point correction to be made for my women's cash-in. This was posted before the bell rang so it's qualified for the "night of" bonus AND on top of that it was before "RAW the night after MITB" ended. Clearly I have earned all 300 points.

I would've loved 1 of his WCW themes since they seem available

but it wouldn't have been anywhere near as cool as Houston a capella... they did a million times better than I was expecting singing the theme

I didn't really start watching until right around the time his heel turn took place. I only remember one WCW theme.

ETA: And it didn't have any words.

All The Days (Instrumental) - Chris Jericho's 1st WCW theme

All The Days by Mammoth (with lyrics)

One Crazed Anarchist - Chris Jericho's 2nd (heel) WCW theme

Jericho just looks to be in pain whenever he walks around. Dude’s body will give out at some point, right?

He only ever used One Crazed Anarchist during his heel run.
