We have some real idiots on here. The incident happened when nobody was around and no cameras caught anything. How the hell do you think the police can solve this? Seriously, what do you want the police to do differently? Tell us.
The only way is if someone rats on someone else.

frick LSU administration.
Floyd was killed by police. Although I agree with your point, it is a different situation which you cannot compare the two.

Give updates on what? They have nothing. There's nothing to update. Do you not understand that this happened where NOBODY saw it?

Also, any time a thug is arrested in this area the police should pressure them to give up what they know. Because at this point, multiple people in the hood know exactly who was responsible. Instead, the system puts them right back on the street.

Yes, I know exactly where it happened. It’s less than a mile from my home! Why do you take the position you take on this? Who are you defending?

Not defending anyone, but I'm not a dummy and can see the facts. So you think if they keep giving updates on nothing in the media that they will solve this?

quote:Sounds like a very sad mindset. See nothing hear nothing do nothing. I don’t think you are a dummy and I don’t think I am either. I don’t know what details police have and if you do, then you know more than me. So you are suggesting all just bury this whole murder of a young girl so you don't have to keep telling people that it’s not solvable? Your ego overwhelms your compassion.

I think I saw the shed was closing. If I rmember that is her Dad. I wonder how much this had to do with it. I'm sure its hard to focus on running a business after this type of tragedy

Anyone have any hard facts on act scores or qualifier showing crime impacting applications/enrollment.
I don't know but I will tell you with 100% certainty my kids will not be attending any school in this state post HS, and I'm an alum. This was just another brick in the wall of that decision.
Also FYI I'd have bumped the other main Allie Rice thread but I couldn't find it. I did bump another one but it's anchored. Not sure why

Sadly, I agree with him.
With no proof, if you arrest someone they’ll never be convicted.
No video, no witnesses, and the gun has either been ditched or resold multiple times.
Sad. Worst thing, is the gun was likely stolen from an idiot who insists they have the right to keep it in the glove compartment of their truck.

Her dad was an investor and was not involved in the daily operations. Her stepmom ran the restaurant before the incident and several of her siblings worked there as well.

That's the issue. If there is no evidence, there's no evidence. There may be latent evidence (like a finger print or DNA for someone not yet in the system) that can be in play...if the perp gets in trouble later. Otherwise, there doesn't seem to be any avenue to efficiently use resources on this case anymore.

There isn't anything efficient to do. I'm no defender of BRPD, but they have plenty of other cases to investigate. Wasting resources prevents solving cases with actual evidence to be found.
