I was rear ended last year and they were no help, absolutely none. Why do we pay all that money to them just to be told they can’t help?

Damn, that must really suck for you then. You went to law school, ended up as an injury attorney and make less money than a worthless poster who doesn’t make a lot of money according to you

But your whole gripe in this thread is we make too much money.

You’re really bad at this.

I see why you play more checkers than chess.

I actually have no problem with you making money. I have a problem with you saying it’s okay for you to make money, but the insurance industry shouldn’t be profitable.

I know that’s hard for you to comprehend. Everyone got to choose their profession in life as far as I know. I’m all for you making money brother.

I think the deal with my old ladies ins and 800 allstate person was intentional. He knew she would loose coverage and he flat our didn;t care. No biggie to him. He'd be long gone in 30 days anyway. He was just an unknown call center guy who didn't give af.

You were saying? You called in and did something after hours did you not?

Again I am reverting to that reading and comprehending thing. I was saying... My OLD LADY called in.. I don;t know when..

I do know one time She got a letter from her insurance company (Allstate I believe)... It stated something was wrong with her policy and she need to correct it. Or her policy would expire in a few days.

The letter in the mail came 20 days after the policy was already cancelled. They blamed it on a slow postal service. Even claimed they had been having issues with the postal service...

But of course the policy had already been cancelled and a new one had to be issued.. At a higher rate of course.. In fact it doubled.

Every single one of these three stories point to a failure of the insurance provider to follow through with their agreements and each time it cost the customer for their mistake.. But was it really a mistake? I don't think so.

Like I said, I was born at night, but not last night.

So if I made $2.59 this quarter, but only $1 last quarter, I also have a 259% increase

La R.S. 32:861 says you’re wrong.

quote:

C.(1)(a) The applicant for registration may, in lieu of procuring a motor vehicle liability bond or policy, deposit with the state treasurer cash in the amount of fifty-five thousand dollars

$55,000 being the sum of the minimum required coverage of $30,000 per accident bodily injury liability coverage and $25,000 property damage liability coverage.

The article does not mention the actual profit margin, so the percentage increase is really irrelevant. How could they avoid mentioning the profit margin in an article about profit?
