That's right, don't look for a solution or demand that someone with authority actually does something to prevent this. Just simply ignore the constant interpretation / inconvenience.

Been using Hiya for over a year now. I’ll go months without a spam call. At some point a couple will get through here and there but it’s very infrequent that they do.

I’ve had a bunch today also. Different number leaving me the same voice mail. When I go to listen to it all it says is “press 1 now”.

its even more subtle then that
most online checkouts now require a phone number and email address to complete the purchase or you cant buy it.
i give my email but always put in fake phone numbers. i dont get the phone calls but you need email info so they have that to sell to spammers but after a few weeks the spam emails usually stop

Verizon has an app that I downloaded, and stopped all of those. I'm back to getting calls from relatives, and wrong number calls.

This week has been especially trying for me with spam calls. I'm expecting a freight package from a company and was expecting a phone call to set up a delivery time. I've answered so many spam calls. Come to find out my order didn't even ship
