My issue is that people take it much further than that. They stress that he is a felon, something the cops wouldn't know at that point. They stress that it is clear he is resisting and going for the gun, but you cannot even see a gun much less what he is trying to do, if anything, with his right hand. They want to see something that isn't there. I just want people to be honest about their bias.
This. And it witness Store owner interviewed has stated that the gun was taken out of his pocket after he was shot and killed. Was he going for the gun? We certainly cannot ascertain that from the video. Yet people are saying he was going for it. Like I have said before, the police have stated they are reviewing the security video from the store.

It is on the NY Times daily news briefing that I get via email. Story will be national lead by end of day or tomorrow probably.
This is going to blow up before the day is over. The MSM wants nothing more than to divert from the FBI debacle and focus on something, anything else than their darling that broke the law but won't get indicted.

What a messed up situation.
Way to go Baton Rouge. Nice timing right after the Jesse Williams speech.
Enjoy your protests. Should make for an interesting and probably less fun football season.

Good point. It's already worked locally. Wouldn't be surprising to see the old crone buy plane tickets for Al and Jessie to ensure the media attention zeros in on BR instead of her.

Report of man with gun.
Fights with police and gets tased.
Continues to fight then reach for said gun.
Gets shot.
Convicted Felon and with an Illegal firearm.
On Parole and recently out of jail.
Selling pirated music & movies.
Lets protest and seek Silky Slims perspective!

so this is now CNN breaking news...
im sure this is mentioned, but the dude had a gun in his pocket, if he was reaching for his gun he deserved to be shot. they tried tasing him they told him to get down and he didnt....
dont carry a gun illegally and point it at people then listen to the cops when they give you lawful orders
eta: his aunt just said he would NEVER have a gun! hasnt it been confirmed he had a gun on him?

Sandra Sterling claims because of a previous incident that he never had a gun.
So, did he grab the cops gun or have his own tucked in?
Turn on CNN

What a convenient story to help brush away the Clinton e-mail stuff.

So the cop farther away automatically yells "gun!" after seeing/feeling one in his pocket, then the other cop who cant see it thinks this shout means the suspect actually has it in hand and starts panic firing in response. Then they were "freaking out" afterwards.
Sounds like these guys were just poorly trained and are unable to handle stressful situations. People like that really shouldn't have the power of life and death over us...

Were they responding to a call in which they were told a man had a gun?
Is that how an unknown person with a gun is approached? Don't they draw down and make him lay on the ground, etc.?
If they were told that he had a gun, why the big surprise, leading one to yell "He's got a gun"?
They reported that there are at least two other videos. One from a dash cam and one from store security. How long will it take to review, then release them?
A lot of people are heard gasping at the end of the video. Did any of them take their opportunity to film this moment?
What time did this occur? How many people were there, as eyewitnesses?

So we have 2 independent witnesses (person who called the police and the store clerk), other than the police, that say he had a firearm. Now Sandra is denying he had a firearm, although she was nowhere near the incident.
