Maybe that's a metaphor, maybe it really happened, who knows? What's important is that the system works and it's worth every penny. I'm thinking it's exactly what can help out our friend with his drug problem.

Wouldn't know the feeling. I choose to deal with my problems as opposed to taking the easy way out by chemically altering my brain.

Never cold turkey. Weaning is the key.

Your serotonin receptors will expect the dose & screw up the amount released when it doesn't have the inhibitor it's expecting causing a chemical imbalance

Today I saw a ghoulish demonic beast. May or may not have been real. Overall, not as bad as I feared.

If a ghoulish demonic beast is no biggie, I think you're doing ok. Now, if you start hearing voices telling you to do stuff, then it's time to check in somewhere.

Pristiq taper side effects/testimonials

Seems like quite a few people having the same problem. 2 weeks doesn't appear to be enough of a taper. SSRI's suck. After reading the list of side effects, you need a supervised taper plan. Stay in touch with your fam, b/c walking day dreams are dangerous to you.

Good luck man, sending up good vibes & a prayer for you

Although that's good for you, everything is relative. Your problems may be much smaller than another person's problems. Some people can handle their own "problems", but might completely break down if they stepped into another person's shoes to deal with their issues. Also, there are sacrifices that come with medication as well, so it's not necessarily the "easy way out."

My doctor is monitoring this. He reduced me to 25 mg for two weeks. No problems whatsoeover. But going from 25 to 0 has me a little off. I'll be fine.

I mean, except for the demons.

Created this account just to reply to you. Please, please seek help. This is not going to stop anytime soon. Idk how long you were on meds before you quit, but it can take forever to get past. I lost my ever loving mind going cold turkey after 7 years on cymbalta. I doubt I will ever be the same person I was. PLEASE reach out to someone, anyone. Are you having overwhelming impulsive thoughts? Really, I hate to see anyone suffer this. Antidepressants are the devil, if you weren't crazy when you started you will be.

Dumb decision. Your fault.

More bullshite. They have done wonders for a couple of my family members. One tapered off of the med with no problem and the other stays on a lower maintenance dose.

Regardless. Point is, man-made chemicals alter the brain chemistry & we don't have generations of test subjects to see the lasting effects. Especially considering they come up with new anti's far too often

I take an anti-depressant but it's for my heat hives (sucks) now that its warm out.

I had no real issues until recently. These meds suck. I'm just here to empathize with you. I'll wake up with a panic attack or ill have some intrusive thoughts while trying to fall asleep

But they are all based on how the neurons fire between each other in the brain. It is very scientific and, quite frankly, amazing how an extra methyl group (fir example) on a known chemical it twice as effective. Even more amazing is when a drug blocks the negative output of the brain, basically stopping negative emotions.
