I never thought of it as a permanent position unless it is in a huge warehouse or plant. I've always just hopped on when something needed to be moved. Can't imagine riding one all day

I drove a forklift in a warehouse in college. I'm certified to operate an all terrain forklift now as were always moving stuff around on job sites.

Unloading HVAC equipment from fully packed 53' trucks on a loading dock was always fun. That was a great college job. Made good money.

Edit: damn just noticed the bump. This is like the mother of all left the reply open and forgot to press submits right here.

Not really. I wasn't even certified when I ran it. I guess the marina just had some good insurance. Come to think of it, one of the owners owned and insurance company as well.
