The only thing we are really saving on is school aftercare. Our gas bill is pretty nominal, maybe $100 month.
Food bill is slightly higher right now.

We are spending way more, but we are also getting about 10-14 days worth at a time instead of the usual 7 so that we limit when we have to go back. We also are eating out way less, so I feel like we are coming out ahead as well as eating healthier than normal.
I also am only going to a little nicer store and getting everything there instead of buying different things at different stores to save money on certain items.

Today I bought 10 pounds of ground beef from the mom and pop italian restaurant down the street. $33. I made 7 burgers one meatloaf and browned 4 pounds for use later. I would normally spend that for 2 burgers and fries at somewhere like walkons, burgersmith, or curbside. And since a glass of wine in a restaurant is normally around the cost of the bottle I am saving a lot there.

I have multiple packages coming in from Sam's, Walmart, Amazon, and smaller specialty places every day. I don't want to look at the amount I've spent.
I drove to Shreveport to get straps replaced on my carbon fiber (fancy plastic) leg brace. Didn't realize it has a crack where one of the vertical post (medial strut) that keeps my ankle from turning is attached to the foot. The insurance companies want them to last five years. I've only had this one for 4 years and two months. I found one that looks almost exactly like it online for around $400. That' less than half of what a custom fitted one will run. I'm going to order it and see if I can get by with it until they want to pay for another one.
Ordered some bandanas from Walmart to wear like masks after the real masks I have for mowing run out.
Had a 18.5" pump shotgun in a cart yesterday, but decided the rifles and pistols I already have would be enough.

Booze budget also higher, but I think that is to be expected.
Yes, but I'm also saving about $400 a month on gas. It actually evens out for me.

Bigtime. Haven't had this many groceries in my house ever. But I started getting ready in January. The shite I'm buying now is mostly a couple hundred bucks of stuff we like. And booze.

Had forgotten how much salt was in takeout/fast food until I ate at home for a all week then went by the drive through for lunch Friday.
