I'm safe at home, have a friend down there. I'm pretty sure WHite linen will be a wash from what he's telling me.

Canal and Rampart is getting water, and that's one of the higher areas of the city. Maybe White Linen night doesn't happen.

White Linen area is fine. It will need to be washed out tomorrow after all that Moscato stains the streets

Canal/rampart isn't that low, but it isn't exactly high ground

I was just out on the roads and it's Nasty out there....all the usual sports are flooded and then others which are causing massive backups of traffic

If you can avoid travel right now, I would....

Really? Where in river Ridge is there a house that has flooded 3 times this year? Did they purposely dig their house and build it down?

There are some low streets/areas.

There is a street named Diane that is very low and for many years they had a bad drain design. I had a friend flood three times in five years there. It was supposed to have been fixed a few years ago, but I'm not sure how it will turn out for today.

Crazy. I have lived in River Ridge the last two years. We barely have puddles right now. I'm not originally from here and guess I just assumed it was all high ground

Surprised to hear that about River Ridge. I've seen worse than this in Harahan several times. The storm drains just topped out in the last few minutes, meaning the streets have no standing water.

They're trying to deliver packages that were supposed to arrive a week ago.
