Please stay away. LaDestroya needs you to Shelter-in-Place.

I went to Alabama and back the other day. The checkpoints were really fast. Routed everyone through a reststop. Surprisingly efficient.

What is the purpose? They tell you to quarantine for 14 days, you say ok, and off you go?

It’s done so the politicians can appear to be doing something to protect their scared citizens.

Back to the original question: Are there any reports that the checkpoints and quarantines will be extended past April 30?

Santa Rosa County to re-open beaches May 1

So they are fine to take I 10 all the way up to Florida and their exit right?

I'm hoping someone answers the original question.

No one knows. DeSantis has not made a decision to extend. If I had to guess, he will not extend, he will allow short term rentals to start up again and begin phase 1 of Trumps plan.

That's my guess too. Can't see them keeping this up if the beaches are starting to open up again.

Was just curious if anyone had seen any reports of an end date for the checkpoints and quarantines.

So as far as when the checkpoints on I 10 will be repealed, I don’t know.

However, I got into the state with no issues this morning taking an alternate route.

Take exit 49, the Buc ee’s exit, south to hwy 90. Hwy 90 west brings you into Pensacola. There is a weigh station at the state line but it’s not being used for a checkpoint. Blew right past. Get back on I-10 wherever. Closest is after the new navy federal credit union complex. Keep on trucking.
