On the left side of the TD scroll bar there's 3 lines, if you hit it, it opens an option scroll. Select account settings and when you open that window change "favorite team."

It's showing LSU on my end? Is it still showing ASU?

I'm sure if the case is closed you can? Also if the investigation involves you, you have a right to the copy of the reports and statements.

Typically you want all interviews recorded. Some departments want written statements as well. If the officer wrote in the report that the conversation was recorded then either one of them is lying and will be found out. If it's not recorded, hopefully the officer isn't lying to cover his arse.

Is it still true that officers get maced while in the academy?
If so, I find this to be a pretty dumb requirement.

I've been sprayed a few times and tazed a few. The only reason I think it's good is because you know the what it feels like it. Also I never use my spray. I become a big baby when I'm near it.

I get that, but you don't have to be shot to know it probably hurts like a bitch.
I think you could safely assume mace feels terrible...especially if you've ever accidentally rubbed your eyes after a crawfish boil.

Well officers are more likely to use spray or the taser before a gun. Plus a jury likes to hear that an officer has been exposed to either one.

We had thousands of warrants and 4 of us trying to serve them

Do you or your department use civil asset forfeiture to steal from people? If you do not, what do you think about the law?

Good thread. I am retired from LSP myself.

Yes and no. We have a hard time getting a judge to agree to it. We have to have pretty solid evidence that ties the assets to the illegal activity. But I do agree with it, if it's used correctly. My feeling is if you can prove that money/items are gained by illegal activity then it should be taken. But shouldn't be taken on a hunch.

Thank you for your service as well.

i believe you're a cop just based off the number of words you've misspelled in this thread

Not doubting you but where do you live? I don't know of any gals who go after cops or firemen in my circles. Most women I know are educated and settle with finance/lawyer/doctor/business owner types. I can see in smaller cities badge bunnies being a thing.
