somehow managed a quadruple. but it bears repeating, I guess.

I dunno. It wasn't like it wasn't known or easily discoverable how his family made its money. La elected a fox to watch the hen house and is shocked...SHOCKED! when chickens go missing. We will continue to get this treatment b/c the state willingly chooses it.

I can confirm auto insurance rates are way out of hand.

I was just was quoted a new policy after buying a new car.

Over 1,400 dollars for 6 months. I was paying about 900 for 6 months for a 12 year old car through State Farm.

I am about to start shopping. That is nearly half of my new car payment.

What ever happened to multiple line discounts and no accident discounts.

Now it feels like I am paying a second car payment.

Attn Crawfish Farmers: How will prices be this year? There are no excuses. The temps are warmer. There has been plenty rain, and gas prices are relatively affordable at $2.50 a gallon in some place. NO excuses. It should be cheap this year.

Mandatory insurance should be illegal.

It undermines free economy and is basically extortion at this point.

the ICs are hardly out in front of cameras for starters. Even during the legislative session. They are able to hide and the legislators aren't helping. Funny how a lot of what the congress is supposed to be doing is getting rates down. If at least one of them had a plan it seems like they would want to personally tell us about what it is. Cmon Jeff!

For sure. Our insurance commissioner office has been sold out to the insurance industry for years. People love to blame the injury attorneys…but don’t realize how much Greg the GoAuto guy just sold GoAuto for. The insurance industry lobbying is what has Louisiana’s rates so high. Not injured people.

leeching injury lawyers looking to kill companies or sink people lives over a fender bender just to take their 33%? It’s why we pay what we pay.

I lean towards the man deserving much of that $19M award if a jury awarded it. It must've been a serious injury

I’ve read the opinion. Horrific injuries which generally have a cascading effect of multiplying on each other.

Which parts? I would be interested to hear a legal expert’s opinion on this.

I’m pretty sure 3-4 of them went to jail the first decade I lived in BRLA.
