If only officers respected people's rights and didn't engage their wouldn't be any content.
If only officers actually know the laws they are supposed to enforce there wouldn't be any issues.
This guy didn't instigate any contact with anyone. The officers went hands on within 10 seconds of speaking to him. They immediately pushed him into the elevator and started issuing unlawful orders.
The one that lied about his name tried to arrest him in the elevator he didn't have enough space to get his cuffs out.
You don't get to make up laws. Everyone has to operate with the parameters of the written and agreed upon law.
Too many officers believe their words are law. That's dangerous and I for one are glad people are pushing back against the police state.

A great way to cancel these filmed audits would be if someone started playing copyright music during the audit.
Baton Rouge City Hall will now play "We don't talk about Bruno" on repeat.....all day long.

The Baton Rouge City Constable's Office has gone straight hood ever since that Gangsta was elected.

The video cuts/jumps in 5 places at the beginning.
1:18, 1:27, 1:42, 2:46, and 3:18 marks.
The guy filming edited the video after the interaction. He gives viewers the impression that he didn't instigate contact with anyone, but only he knows what he did since we can't see the unedited footage. Would've been much better if this were a livestream audit.

Very impolite, and unprofessional personnel. These people are incompetent and have zero income earning skills so they work for the government.
Those who can do; those who can't work for the government.

Most of the people calling themselves "First Amendment Auditors" are morons. They scream at people and harass them. Sean Reyes, aka "Long Island Audit", is different. He is completely cordial and always polite. Never harasses anybody and usually doesn't speak to anybody unless he is spoken to or approached. He's probably the biggest one on Youtube with 190k followers, and unlike others, actually believes in what he does and follows up when wronged. He is one of the few I actually like. (And Bay Area Transparency...that guy acts timid and stupid with police until the moment they are on to him, and then he springs up and they find out he knows more than they do. He has 0 fricks to give and fears nothing. By far the most entertaining imo.)

So I found out that when the female from the EBRSO Civil Division is first shown she is walking out of the lady's restroom (on the right) and turns around to see this guy filming..
I'm not taking sides but if my wife walked out of the lady's room and a guy was following her recording her I'd not be polite.

I was very impressed with Chief Hatch. As unprofessional as BRPD looked at the beginning of the video, Hatch properly diffused the whole situation.
Side note- I hate these instigating YouTube idiots but BRPD was definitely out of line.
That wasn't BRPD. That was the Baton Rouge Constable's Office. It says so on their patch.

It's amazing how none of them seemed to know shite about the law.

Correct, but the majority of that video was Constable's Office employees. BRPD was never once involved as the poster claimed.

This is the first I’ve ever seen this. What is it? What are they auditing? Do they just walk around public buildings filming until a cop confronts them? I’m so confused

The Constable's Office is nothing more than a job's program for idiots. They have zero responsibilities and still somehow frick it up.

Yes, hoping for a 1st amendment lawsuit. Unfortunately, several police officers they encounter cannot distinguish between public and private property. It's quite discouraging to watch these guys bait the cops into basically writing them checks out of the taxpayers pockets.

Bait them? Dude walks into a public lobby of the city hall and a sworn deputy working in said city hall escalates a situation out of a guy with a camera doing nothing. Deputies and/or employees of EBRSO need to know better. No excuse.

They walk into public spaces and see if the public servants respect our rights to film and photograph in public accessible spaces without being accosted or even worse.
If they fail they are usually educated on the freedom of press.
I've seen them done at police stations, city halls, public libraries, post offices, DMV etcs
They usually go differently. Usually one of the employees of will tell someone they are not allowed to film. The auditor will explain the 1st amendment to them. They will call the police and usually the police will educate said employee.
Sometimes the police are ignorant and need to be educated as well.
