Racism is alive and well in Baton Rouge...the attitude among the black council members seems to be: if you look like us and you're not thinking like us, you are the enemy.

Yet the reason Chauna and the black council members want Wicker recalled is because she refused to go along with their plan to get a black democrat into a seat that represents a predominantly white republican district. They want to deny the residents of District 8 representation on the MC all in the name of “racial equity.” What a huge crock of shite. If that’s not true racism, then what is? Can you imagine the hoopla if the shoe was on the other foot and a group of white council members was engaging in similar behavior?
