Some of Tara is up. Entergy has had to shut down some of Old Hammond as they fix the mess by Brentwood. That area will be down another couple days.

I’m burning more gas in a day than I do in 2 weeks of commuting.
This shite sucks donkey balls.

2-4 days.
TLine repair crew will not work above energized distribution lines and there were a handful of homes on lateral feeders that could not be powered from alternate sources.

Everything was tagged out yesterday so hopefully things will start moving today. They have to also set a new metal pole. I’m prepared to be out till tomorrow or Tuesday.

I have confirmed with Demco Millbrook is on the Terrell substation. Everything around it has power but us. Any clue as to why? We’re literally the only neighborhood or street within 5 mile radius without power.

At least you have Entergy doing work and keeping people informed.
Demco over here just saying lots of damage in LP, mentioning substations that no one knows where they are in relation with them, and you having no idea if it will be days or weeks for you to get power back.

Yes the communication from Demco has been a bit lackluster since their initial "a few weeks" posts.

The linemen working on old Hammond are good and working their butts off. The problem is the lack of communication from the higher ups to the field. We’ve been calling since Monday morning trying to tell them how dangerous the situation was.
It took 5 days and a call from the governors office for them to figure it out. There were 4 transmission lines (70k volts each) laying in the road for a week.

We got power back Wednesday night and I thought we were on that same substation.

I just left there. 1 or 2 linemen around but no real work going on. Guess they took the day off. Was hoping they’d have a full crew working on it today and possibly get power today but that isn’t happening. I don’t expect it till Tuesday at best.

Entergy's text update keeps telling me my power has been restored. Why is their map and automated updates so horrible? I understand we just had a major hurricane, but their system isn't very reassuring that they even know what is powered and what isn't.

I just walked out to look too and not much happening.

How are you seeing an updated map?
I have tried numerous paths to it and devices and can not get a map… just a white page

Map is still "working" for me. The greens and reds randomly change like a chicken is pecking on a keyboard in their control center.
