I have snow skied Hawaii. Very short runs but cool to say I have done it.

Maine is full of Prog filth, I'll pass

Just a part of it is full of Bernie Bros. I know some people who live in Maine and they are nothing like the Progs.

but I don't know if the hassle of clearing out all your personal stuff would be worth it to allow folks to use your home like a vacation spot.

Most of the newer houses/condos have a few areas inside and outside that can be locked and used for the owner to store stuff. Probably not everything, but it at least helps.

Estes Park isnt Eden. It floods up there and can get isolated in winter. They’ve had some bad flooding. All places have their pros/cons but a beach town would suit me for year round livability.

I liked Estes Park when I visited. I couldn’t live there year round though. Beach towns have women wearing less clothes and showing more skin.

Mountain town and not close as long as I can ski/snowboard every day during the winters. There's always mountain biking to do in the summer. I'd love to retire to somewhere like Revelstoke.
