No that black line doesn't mean anything
It says its the median track but its not because a bunch of ensembles disappear after they hit Mexico. There is still way more ensembles going west than North

I mean, that is what the 00z to 12z trend showed. He could have used some nuance, I guess, but it is pretty straight forward. Not really in the category of a major wishcast

There is very little chance that Beryl will have any direct impact on the northern Gulf Coast, particularly Gulf Shores to Panama City. That said, there will probably increased surf and rip currents there.
