I like it but it’s overhyped.

Love it. I’ve been trying to find some land around here to buy.

If Arkansas counts as a "Southern U.S. City", then there is a small town in NW Arky that wins, hands down. Not going to post the name of the town so that it stays a "Hidden Gem".

That’s a pretty low bar.

Paducah, KY is runner up IMHO

Don't now much about the rest of the town but all of the employees at Mello Mushroom there appear to be trans - rainbow type.

You think Greenville, SC is a “hidden gem?”

Sorry, but word has been out for a long time.

It's not everything, but I really do enjoy the downtown. The beach is as good as we have. A few old school cool things. Historical district is nice and there are some good attractions. Good public schools. I just moved here from Oxford and I think it is better minus the fact the average girl is older.

Hernando Ms has not been mentioned.

I have a customer in Hernando. The square is cool and has a couple of good restaurants, but I can’t remember the names. Whole town seems a-ok.

I take it you haven’t been in a while. It has lots to offer these days, and still maintains its small town charm.

Blue Ridge is very nice. I spend a few weeks a year there, but the fishing is not great, unless you have access to the private parts of the Toccoa River, and unlike most places I’ve been the river is 85% private water.
