Theres parts of this drive you can set the cruise at 104 and never see another car.

Some people don't understand that the difference in 65mph and 75 mph is 10 miles per hour.
So on a 100 mile trip, the person driving 75 will arrive 0.2 hours, or 12 minutes earlier. Shorten the drive and it shortens the advantage.
It is however very difficult to maintain a speed above the average speed of traffic for any meaningful amount of time.
They will produce more gas while doing so however. I didn't take that into account in my study, as it was done circa 2013 before I knew such things.

Weird bump…
I would think 160-200$ would be reasonable

Not on my 2003 Taco. No cruise control, no power windows, manual tranny. 180k miles, and still going strong, though.

Love those old Tacomas. I had a 2007 4Runner from high school through 2020. Still miss that thing

I got one in Grant Parish a few years back coming back from a sawmill in Pitkin. I had a 20' trailer behind me with about 6,000 pounds of lumber on it. He told me I was doing 76 in a 55 (on a winding road) pulling that much weight with a half ton truck. My father was with me and he also verified I was maybe doing 53 mph. They gave me a ticket with a court date which I was going to fight. A week before the court date someone called and told me it was being thrown out with no explanation. crooked arse small towns.

An attorney friend of mine told me an expired inspection sticker will cost you over 300.00

What a weird thing to downvote. Guess I have an admirer.
