It says Napoleon Ave Seg I and IV is near 100%. That's definitely not all of it though.

Digging up the road and putting in a new drainage system isn't something you can do quickly. Just wait when New Orleans decides to replace the broken 100 + year old water lines that leak throughout the city.

That entire piece of LA 73 is taking way, WAY too long. It's like nothing is happening.

lol I looked it up. It's a whopping 47% done if it's the widening job.

Ok Hu, could you answer a question for me? You mentioned Barber Brothers is 47% complete with the HWY 73 project, and I agree that seems about right. I did some research on their contract. When they submitted their bid they had to say how many days they would require to build the job. Barber used 660 days. Their work order was issued on 9/25/2011. If my math is correct they are 907 days into their contract, or 137% on time and 47% complete. How has the state not thrown them off the job for too big of a spread of work complete vs. time? The state sure did it to Austin on I-10????

I have emailed the state numerous times and they keep on blaming it on rain delays and utility conflicts. I realize this has something to do with it, but not everything. The last email I received from the state said they would be complete by this summer. At this rate they will be done 1,929 days or late 2016. Do you have any insight on this? I am ready to battle.

The project is supposed alter the parade routes for carnival season 2015, so can only imagine how big of a shitshow it will be during Mardi Gras next year. I pretty much take Gen. Pershing or Milan depending on the way I'm going exclusively now.

When did it start? Seems like forever that the construction has been there.
