So? He also said they pulled a gun out of ex felons pocket and that he could have handled the situation differently.

You can't come in here with "maybe reached for his weapon." All I'm saying is I haven't seen anyone be able to justify him being shot multiple times at point blank range to the chest.

Common sense doesn't give those cops any chance to shoot. Cooperate man!!!!! This was a senseless killing.

We've disagreed about everything when it comes to Baton Rouge, but now we're just gonna have to hate each other.

People still buy music CDs? Alton should have added some itune gift cards to his inventory IMO.

Is it true he pointed the gun at kids and held it to another man's head to make him buy a CD?
It was allegedly captured on LIVELEAK. If so, not sure if aggressive is relevant.

He also said that Alton never reached for the gun and his hand was pinned down by the officer who was also holding down his legs.
He also said one police officer said "f*ck it, leave him", and they administered no aid to him. Could be another reason why people aren't happy.

That's way too fricking close to Tony's
We should go all "Los Angeles Riots Asian Convenience Store Owners" on people trying to frick up Tony's.
Stand your ground.

I agree 100%, learn from past events and know that shenanigans get you shot.

He probably is just trying to keep his store from being burned to the ground.

Bruh, you gotta see the video in this article . These vigils are such jokes. People videoing and smiling, thinking it's a damn platform
Same thing I was thinking. The videos of these gatherings, I mean "vigils" have 2 groups of attendees. Those walking around with a big "scary" frown and their nose in the air like they're looking out for someone to show up and the others who are dancing around like its a party.
Oh and the photo ops they post up of a few "community leaders" standing together. Half of them can't figure out that they shouldn't be smiling at such an event.

they were allegedly responding to a call of someone brandishing a handgun at other people.
I'm definitely not police trained... but it's fair to say I would probably not come out of the car acting like I just pulled you over for going 75 in a 60

I'm going to go grab lunch there today, just in case.

C'mon man you know Tony's is gonna have 13 off-duty EBR Sheriff deputies in their parking lot just like they always do

If JBE was smart/strong, he'd go ahead and say if they're caught rioting they'll be arrested with extreme prejudice. And ACTUALLY do it. Hell, go ahead and call in the Nat'l Guard.
He could've already done this, I haven't read through the thread.

If this gets big, I'm a little concerned about a Gardere uprising.
Agreed. I don't know that the actual riots will get too far past NBR, but you know folks from Gardere will be out there just to show their asses. I'm not sure it's just restricted to BR ghettos.
