Sites I've seen said that 505's changed in 2010...but I think it was even earlier than that. The denim seems thinner. I've had pairs where the denim tore at the belt loop within 6 months. They are trash.

Lacrosse rubber boots
I haven't bought a pair in a while, since my hip boots have lasted for over 10 years, but they've finally gotten some dry rot in the creases where I fold over and hang them.

But, my nephew bought a pair less than 2 years ago and they've got dry rot already. Really disappointing for a pair of hip boots that costs $100.

In the 90s there was an Umbro outlet store in Gulf Shores. I made my parents stop there every time we went to the beach.

I've noticed a trend here.

Almost every product that has gone to shite was previously made in the US or another 1st world country, and is now being produced in China or some 3rd world shithole.

So true. When do you think MTV stated sucking? My 2 cents is 1993-ish

1993ish? you're way off. As another poster mentioned, it was probably shortly after the turn of the century.

Rolling Stones...They just aren't what they used to be. I realize all bands give it up eventually but they should let it go.
