I’m shocked that this many people actually want to see the completely average forgettable breaking bad house lol

Yeah, i don't understand sitting out there all
Day just to yell at people. Turn it into a rental and live in a mansion outside of town.

This person has always been baffling to me.

1 If it's a beloved family home, why rent it out for TV?

2 If so angry about not having privacy, why constantly be out front trying to argue with gawkers?

3 If so angry about no privacy, why hang around that long? The series has been over for a decade.

4 If truly trying to sell and just be rid of it, why not pick a number that still gives you an amazing profit but actually sells?

Most surprising part of that article is the median price of a home in Albuquerque is 400k. That place is a shite hole. Home prices really are out of control.

It’s more baffling to me that people would go out of their way to see and take a selfie of themselves in front such an average house that doesn’t even look like it did in the show.

It’s like videoing a concert or fireworks for me.

300 cars a day? That would be awful, although you play stupid games…

Most people who live in TV/Movie houses alter the property in a way that discourages people from wanting to see it.

Here’s what Sydney’s house looks like from I Love You Man

She has signs in the front yard that say “please respect our privacy and take your pictures from across the street”

Last year we took the kids on a road trip out west. Stopped at their house and we stayed at the stop sign across the street. She still came running out videoing us and calling or pretending to call the cops.

A local was jogging by and said to us “yeah she’s a real bitch”

Gotta zoom but here’s the peach videoing us back

Hilarious!! Yep I was right there as well.

I’ve been by that house, and there’s no way in hell that house is worth anywhere close to $4 million. Who the hell is going to buy that unless they want to open a Breaking Bad museum, in which case I think the neighbors will have a problem with that.

My family and I did an informal, Breaking Bad self tour in 2015. The lady was, in fact, sitting outside her house when we went through the neighborhood. At any point, there were several vehicles of fans doing the same thing--driving through, parking, getting out of their vehicles to take pictures. The lady was actually fairly reasonable when we went. She just asked people not to actually come onto the property to take their pictures. Given that was just one random day, it's pretty easy to see how she could become so combative over the years. I'm betting there have been many assholes trying to launch pizzas onto her roof as well.

If I remember correctly, Gus's house was in the same neighborhood (but didn't seem to get nearly the same amount of traffic).

One of the times I drove by (I’m in ABQ for work from time to time), there was a sign asking people not to throw pizzas on the roof.

I’ve only seen a couple Breaking Bad episodes, so never seen the scene that apparently motivated idiots to do this, but I’d be pissed as hell too if POSs kept doing that.

She put the fence up to stop people from throwing pizzas on the roof. Apparently it happened a lot

People that feel the need to ride by a house that was in a TV show are fricked up as moon frogs.

Seems odd that they actually filmed there. Usually they just use the image of the front of the house, and then film the interior in a studio.

Appears they actually filmed on a regular basis inside the actual house.

I remember reading somewhere the owner was nuts and overly aggressive about people even being near the house.

Probably the best for her sanity

Yeah and THAT is effed up and I’d be pissed off about it too. She has a metal roof as well. Maybe she tried that before putting the fence up.
