Depends on why momma doesn't approve ... if it's a personality/appearance thing then that's pretty shallow. If she sees things like rudeness/selfishness/ugliness then that's different.
So .. how do you know they don't like her and what did they say as to why??
Personally as a mom, I'd point out what I thought were valid concerns BUT I'd be very careful how I did it and would realize it's STILL up to my kid to make his own choices.

Telling your mom to stop it isn't going to stop anything. Backing up your actions is the only thing that will. This means no more answering the phone and pretending it's all dandy every time she calls. This means declining invitations to gatherings where your SO isn't welcome.

Family acceptance is nice, maybe even desirable. If you defer to your family and break off the relationship BE DAMN HONEST with the girl as to why...it will help her going forward
