Think about fast food franchisees. They aren’t all owned by corporate and still have to pay royalties. Can’t upgrade your stores AND pay royalties if you’re closed down.
The ripple effect will crush this economy

The ripple effect of this will be devastating and recovery will probably be years in some areas.
I’m sorry you value money over people’s lives. Maybe you should step away from the internet while all this passes. By the way, freedoms are conditional. This is what has to be done so nurses and doctors can post memes on Facebook about how superior they are to us.

That’s weird. My wife says she got that letter but her’s said she doesn’t have to do cleaning or cooking and gets an increase in her Amazon shopping limits.

Most fast food seems to be doing fine with drive thru only.
And most franchise fees are percentage of gross sales so if sales are down so are fees

How can you be so sure, other than listening to talking heads on FoxNews? We're in uncharted waters and to say the economy will recover quickly is disingenuous. We have no idea. Supply chains have been completely turned upside down. So many are unemployed or underemployed. The only ones that will be able to get this economy going again are those that are already dependent on government welfare, who won't see a disruption of their normal "earnings".
Seriously, is everyone going to run out and buy that new car the minute they get rehired? I doubt it, they have back rent to pay, loans to pay, etc.

People are losing their businesses.

No one is 100% sure but I would put my money on our recovery being much faster than most are predicting. Sure it will likely take 1-2 years to get back 100% but the majority of business will recover rather quickly. Most companies are still operating even with shutdowns in several states.

They are down 30%
That’s not sustainable especially when people start running out of cash

I never post on FB but I’ve had to restrain myself from commenting on some of the stupid virtue signaling I’ve seen. Coincidentally, from government workers and nurses.

No I’m not a sheep like most of you are like the sky is falling. Our medical/health recovery will be much faster than most allowing us to resume back toward more normal activities.

Due to my main job of working ems I’ve stopped doing windshields for now. A lot of my customers are elderly and I’ve declined all calls the past week. Unless it’s major like a tree branch hit a windshield and vehicle is unusable I won’t go out and risk infecting anybody. My own FIL doesn’t want me around him right now

People will for sure. Fortunately, my business is considered essential. Still, there are going to be financial hurdles for us.

I’ll kill for someone to buy 70% of our crawfish at the price we were getting two weeks ago
