LADB doesn't play around with this shite. He'll be lucky to not be disbarred. At the very least, he is looking at a long suspension.

Surprised this didn't happen after the Disney world incident.

Ole Sam might be slinging meth in Grant Parish by the time this is all over with.

Alexandria is stagnant because it’s been taken over by the hoodrats more than anything. POA folks can be a little whack but they actually do a lot for the community trying to help people out. Can’t speak for Cavalry. It’s crazy cause I can probably list on one hand of my high school classmates that still live there. Everyone else is in Lafayette, BR, Nola or out of state

The whole Calvary/POA thing is dumb. Has nothing to do with why the city struggles to grow

Their only hope is to get rid of the crack heads and the creosote stink and take advantage of all the outdoor tourism opportunities that surround CenLa.

They could be a hub for public land hiking, camping, biking, hunting, fishing etc if the town wasn't a shite hole.

Agreed. Maybe it was true in the 80’s and 90’s but not today.

Alexandria’s problems today are due to its elected officials and demographics.

Yes! The city itself is ok but outside of is awesome recreational areas - Indian creek, Kincaid, kisatchie, etc

I don’t disagree per se, but they aren’t helping.

They are a middle ground holding steady for sure, but people who want to make some change here see them and realize not only do they have to fight the hood rats, they also have to fight a group that hates progress, so they take talents elsewhere.

What specifically has POA done to stop “progress”? The only thing I ever heard is they didn’t want a Hooters to open in town.

Don’t blame me. I went to Prompt Succor when I lived there.

It really wasn’t true back then. The closing of EAFB was a kick in the nuts. Some forward thinking members of the community got the fed gov to donate the property and we now actually have an airport, before you either went to Esler or drove to Shreveport. I could go on, and will later. I’m cooking and drinking atm. Also, a lot of productive members of the Ellic community moved across the river.
