Not to mention their factories are making a ton of money right now.
Items that they normally charge $0.20 to $0.50 each are going for $1 to $2 each. And they are changing the price after taking orders. We put in an order for 2 million isolation gowns and one of the factories upped the price an additional $0.50 each then completely changed the production schedule.
Now the Chinese government keeps changing shipping requirements daily leaving companies like mine scrambling to figure out how to get the stuff here but also getting stuck paying for goods that are just sitting in Chinese customs. So now factories are hurrying up to take orders that they know aren't going to make it to the customer.

If anything, this will have an increase in population. Because everyone has been locked down less people have died everywhere because less people are getting sick from everything like the flu, etc, having less accidental deaths, murders, etc... While a few hospitals in hotspots worldwide have become overrun, most hospitals everywhere else are completely empty.

Releasing a virus isn’t just an act of war. It is a war crime that can be tried by the World Court. Bio warfare has been illegal for a long time. The Chinese would not risk being made a villain in the court of public opinion on its own merit. It would be political suicide.
