Put back in the big bag and on the shelf in the garage.

I noticed today, a about two hours ago that a house in my neighborhood still has their Christmas lights (white lights) up and on.
I was driving home after watching the CCGs at my buddy's house last night and I noticed a well to do family in my neighborhood have a huge oak tree in their front yard and they had it all lit up with their white lights from Christmas.

Mine is up, in the attic. The box finally broke this year, so I decided to annoy the wife by taking it down and putting it back up (with no ornaments or topper of course) in the attic.

I know people who keep the up all year round. And decorate them for Easter, 4th of July, Birthdays, Thanksgiving, etc....

He’ll it ain’t close to the 4th of July when the founding fathers gathered in Philadelphia and proclaimed for all the world to hear “take down your Christmas decorations you trashy bastards, it’s July for fricks sake” and the tradition of celebrating the 4th of July began….only commies and sissies take down Christmas before the 4th….and probably don’t have a couch on the front porch or a Camaro on blocks in the front yard or a mangy old dog chained to a stake in a circle of red dirt in the side yard. Real ‘Mericans know how to live the dream….
