Zachary...actually, Atlanta is pretty rough; constant freakin gridlock from 7-10am and 3-7pm. I would choose a hot coffee enema over driving in Atlanta.

Never really went downtown at that time all the years I was living in South Florida. Tampa is just awful though, took me like 2 hours to get to Tropicana one time and I only lived 20-25 miles away.

I'd have to say Houston, some parts of 288, 45 and 610 are just GOD AWFUL. I've never driven in it but I hear Atlanta can be a parking lot most of the time.
I live in Houston.
Houston traffic > BR traffic. Houston traffic is predictable and consistent.

I'd hope no one who's been outside Louisiana would say BR, although it is terrible during the school year.
So the majority of the year?

I actually think the Bay Area is pretty bad now. Possibly worse than LA in peak traffic.

Atlanta - especially where 75/85/GA 400 funnel together.
Los Angeles
D.C
New York - Northern NJ
These are on another level of horrific.

Beijing is ridiculous. Nothing in the US even comes close to that cluster frick. 2 hours to go 6 miles at 2:45am for example.
Yeah, that's a clusterfrick. It can take hours to get from one end of the city to the next. It's sickening to go to Shanghai and have the traffic be 10 times better than it is in Beijing.
But even Beijing pails in comparrison to any city in India. Beijing is organized chaos, while India is just chaos.

Atlanta. We were staying in Alpharetta, about 30 minutes outside of Atlanta. We went to the aquarium in Atlanta, and in the evening it took us over 2 1/2 hours to get back to the hotel.

LA has the 5th worst traffic in the WORLD and the worst in North America.

worst traffic I have ever had to deal with was Denver...just a fricking terrible commute...

Orange County, Cali.....used to take me 45 minutes to go 10 miles from work to home. If I got on the freeway, it took 50 minutes. Dallas traffic is not too bad if you know the good routes. A lot of times getting on the freeway....or Tollways is a losing proposition.
