And that only got pulled off because the poors near you, and me (and other federal tax payers), paid taxes so you could get a subsidy to feel better about yourself and your transition to things you think Bunker Hill wives will lay you for.

Our grid is a joke and run by idiots…

Assuming he only got the ITC he actually just got to keep some of the hard earned money he made and not give it to the government.

Passed by the wind turbines between Mart and Groesbeck Sunday. If 1 out of every 10 turbines was moving I’d be shocked. The big power plant in Riesel was rolling though.

Good news is, if they aren’t turning they aren’t getting any subsidy since it’s production based.

I thought Texas was much better than liberal westerners. I thought commie Cali was the ones telling people what to do with their thermostat. I’ll enjoy blasting my AC down to 69 and watering my lawn every morning. Boy, the west coast is rough with this perfect weather.

Democrats call those loopholes. How do you feel taking money from single Latinas inside the perimeter so they have to get free and reduced price lunch for their kids, because they're shifting government funding to your social justice project?
There is no such thing as a free lunch. The fact that you didn't learn that at Rice is not surprising. Disappointing, but not shocking.

How much did your setup cost, how much tax credit did you get, and how much do you think it has saved you?

Just regarding this, what he got doesn’t really matter. What’s available now is 30%FMV on your taxes and an additional 10% if you use US made panels and 10% more if you’re in a qualified low income area.

It's called capitalism Lenny.
Are you a socialist, or maybe even a commie?
Do you need a plane ticket to Mother Russia?

70k
-30k rebate (sorry Lenny as I know how this pains you)
It's a long term investment, looking good so far

How long is that setup good for before it needs work?

Good modules have a 25 year warranty. Typically at 88ish% production.
String inverters have a 10-15 year warranty but typically last longer.
Microinverters have a 25 year warranty.
Batteries it really depends on the unit but the powerwall 2 and the best you can get.
Credit is 30%, add 10% if US modules, add 10% if low income qualified zone.

I dont know much about taxes. You are saying that if the setup is 70k then I can take 21k off of my taxes?

Ha! Texas has much more in common with California than it cares to admit. It’s closer to California culturally socially and politically than it is to Florida Alabama Louisiana or Mississippi.

Not do sure about all that.
Texas is a big place. Urban areas maybe, but rural Texas is as conservative a they come

Probably going to feel shorter and shorter as the cost of electricity continues to rise.
What’s the average monthly cost to heat and cool a house your size in January/July?
