All people deserve a fair trial, including her. Unfortunately, Russia isn't a place where a fair trial is truly guaranteed. She made a huge mistake thinking she could bring this stuff into Russia, especially being a higher profile American during a time of very strained relations between the U.S. and Russia.
I hope she is able to get at least be treated fairly, but that doesn't seem likely. Hopefully she won't be locked up there for an extreme amount of time.

I understand but she's not the first. A similar situation happened a few years back and the President at the time got them out of it. Did you disagree with that move or should they have stayed and did the time? Genuinely curious.
