Once you get everything zeroed, bump up your speed and slam on the brakes as you get close

That's no fun. Mash the gas first, approach while correcting. If you don't wreck about half the time, you're doing it wrong.

I can't risk the lives of my crew on board. I'm not a space cowboy

3 m/s ish I think. What buttons are the roll buttons? I'm having to do that with the mouse, and it makes it tough. You have to start pitching, rolling, and translating all at the same time to have any chance of getting it right, which makes it much more fun.

Start jamming on the brakes at about 50 meters to about 1.5 m/s until about 15 meters out and then start bumping the brakes so you hit right as it comes into the right speed range. At least that's what I try to do.

It'd be better if holding the button held the thruster, at least for the X Y Z thrusters. Pitch and roll are fine with bumps.

I just pitched, rolled, and yawed, then translated without really knowing where the port was. Fun times.

Its easy now

Another way to spice it up is get the thing moving, and then get it all outta whack, and try to sort it out before you crash or overshoot.

As someone stated earlier, it would be vastly easier with a joystick.

Now try air-to-air refueling with goggles on. Doing it with the old ANVIS-6 peepers was a challenge.

He's talking about that actress, Clitoris Leachman. She was in Beer Fest and Young Frankenstein. Probably a lot more but those are first two that came to mind.

If you could land the F-14 on the aircraft carrier for Top Gun Nintendo on your first try then this is child’s play

Pretty sure the Death Star pulled me in. I wasn’t close and seemed to rotate and spin.

Misspelled “dick” and your Mom’s name here and the answer is “affirmative”.
