Well, thanks for the crystal clear explanation. I feel better knowing you are on the front lines of this.

You have no fricking clue. I was one that wanted to downplay it. Think it wasn’t bad. Do y’all realize have the ER’s Nola will refuse some patients? Let that sink in

Oh I have no doubt that the hospitals won't be able to treat most, there really isn't much they can do anyway. If you get it you're pretty much on your own. But for 80% they will only experience mild symptoms.

Right? There are several posters who are sick and monitoring it all at home, and this post is 0% helpful. Thank you for nothing informative at all, OP.

Lol you say that. There will be those that go into respiratory failure and will die and you don’t have to be old for that to happen. I’m just trying to give warnings. Just wait and see. You will see

What the frick are you talking about? Don't come to a place where people might be looking for advice on what to do/what to look for and just blab on and on about people in worse conditions.

Help people with your experience, or go away.

Nobody is saying some people aren't in shite conditions.

Your bedside manner is going to get your arse kicked by a ticked off family member.

Symptoms usually start as a common cold. Then you nose dive and come check in. You get shortness of breath and feel ok especially if under the age of 50. You get admitted and about 8 hours later you are intubated while in the ICU. NO ONE FROM YOUR FAMILY CAN SEE YOU. You may have minor symptoms.

Haha ok.
Donovan Mitchell said he could play a 7 game series with no problem with this virus.

The stats right now in this country show that 12 out of 6288 active positive cases are in critical condition.

Those 40 and under that have this either have barely any symptoms, or very mild symptoms. Not ICU symptoms dumbass.

After watching people panic the past week, it’s 50/50 whether I’m rooting for the virus at this moment.

LA lady wtf you do you not understand? There are going to be patients that can’t breath in their own and ER’s can’t take them. Are you stupid?

This isn't at all what you posted. Look at your downvotes, fricktard.

Ok, that's me currently.

quote:

Then you nose dive and come check in.

So.. Are you saying go in now? Wait to nose dive when it is even more overwhelmed there? What is the advice here?!

quote:

You get shortness of breath and feel ok especially if under the age of 50

So wait, now I'm ok again? So.. don't go in?

quote:

You get admitted and about 8 hours later you are intubated while in the ICU.

So now I'm still getting checked in? Did I nose dive or not? Why am I going into the ICU?

quote:

You may have minor symptoms.

WHICH IS IT

How do you not understand that you worded this post like an insane person and that you aren't helping anyone?

Lots of people here are dealing with mild symptoms and would APPRECIATE advice as to when to seek help, whether to just stay home, how to treat.

But no. You're typing like a 85 year old who has never had to write a coherent post in his life.

Look, I'm sure your heart was in the right place when you wrote this. But the way in which you actually transmitted the desired information can only be described as "white dog shite."

It would be OK for you to edit the OP to try to express which people are severely affected, which people experience minor symptoms, and the proportion or numbers of each group.
