I'd choose the death penalty. Rotting in jail leaves room for some woke, DEI, progressive filth judge to intervene.

Hard to intervene if they're no longer with us.

Do you realize how many crops could be grown, tended, and harvested by prison labor. Labor. Good and honest work 7 days a week for a lifetime. If they don't want work, then they can go in the hole in solitary confinement. Otherwise, those crops can go toward feeding the members of the prison and to other government food providing initiatives.

In this hypothetical scenario, the ideal result would be "street justice" before the legal system becomes involved, hypothetically of course.

If the offender receives life in jail, ideally one may or may not contract with certain organizations who operate "inside" to achieve the same "street justice".

Allegedly...

In a book I read.

John Grisham's The Innocent Man is a 2006 non-fiction book detailing the true story of Ron Williamson, a former baseball player wrongly convicted of murder in Ada, Oklahoma. The book explores the flaws in the justice system, including poor legal representation and unreliable evidence, that led to Williamson's conviction and eleven years on death row before his exoneration

Read The innocent man by John Grisham there’s a reason for the appeals.
