I called him a PEEJ alter. Lol.

The thing is I watch local news/weather for short term things. I love the threads here because they will give a heads up if what models are showing a couple weeks out, hell sometimes longer. Of course the snow shite was blown out of proportion but we know, or should, that any of that weeks out isn’t reliable, but they were spot on with the cold. I told people 2 weeks ago that it might be REALLY cold during Christmas. The local weather guys don’t go that far out and I don’t blame them.

This place also told me about a possible gulf storm when there was nothing happening yet. This storm became Harvey.

I saw that and cracked up. This place was very helpful during 2016 flood. And Eachus is the reason I went to work in 2017 when I should have stayed home.

He and Grymes both screwed that up.

Not a good look for Eachus. Someone at the station could talk to him about professionalism. He came off as a douchebag for sure. Nice job, Josh!

With some googling, you can find Dr. Josh's (now expired) web resume. He lists the December 2017 snow as part of his experience. Kinda weird to list something you were dead arse wrong about as your work experience.

You a bitch for that, Josh

You should. Everyone should.

These threads are elite at gaming out what is going to happen but the news is gonna get you the info faster when shite is currently going down in your area.

I know this has been discussed a bit already, but could the 50% chance of Thursday rain be a travel concern going into the weekend? If Thursday rain freezes over with the quick temp plunge, and with temps not getting above freezing on Friday, things could still be frozen by the time Saturday rolls around?

I really dont think itll be an issue that far south.

The "flash freeze" is a big concern up into the Ohio Valley.

You don't think it's fun when the inside of your nose freezes and then unfreezes on the exhale?

The only thing I've learned with 100% certainty is that all these Yankees from the snow States drive just as bad as the people from Baton Rouge when there's snow on the ground.

I'd say maybe he learned something from that event, which is why he put it on his resume, but apparently he didn't because he's still acting as though it didn't happen. Have some humility, Dr. Eatadick. I trust the meteorology students who post here and on stormcast more than I trust him. He's such a douche

Dr Josh says we said it was going to be 0 and snow a foot because GFS said so 10 days ago.

I posted this right in the middle of all that 10 days ago

You posted how it was that cold on the run because there was a ton of ice on the ground. Dr Josh can EAsnowcoveredD

quote:

This run is a good example of runaway chaos theory in a deterministic model. Signals are pointing to it being cold. But it's not going to be below 0. At 300 hours out you'd be more correct on average using the farmer's almanac or climatological data than a GFS deterministic run.

From my experience the TD Weather threads have been far more accurate than any Dr of weather's.

Dunno baw, seems like we evaluated the shite out of the models biases and shortcomings and found it wanting.

This doesn't surprise me when 1 discusses WBRZ as a whole... from my own personal experience with some behind the scenes members of that organization

You think flights out of Jacobian Guillory international airport will be on time Friday?
