And now it’s raining right before the freezing temps get here. Gonna be a fun drive into work at 330am....

College/Perkins area...
Little bit of rain, followed by mist, not cold yet, pipe in hand, reporting live from front porch...
Waffle from TD news, the real news

Currently 12 with a wind chill of -5. Snow is coming down. Faucets dripping, cabinet doors open, tarp over the windshield.

The mountains at least did their damn job for me.
That dense cold mostly went around. Current temp is 10 with a 15 mph wind. Not the -9 with the same wind I feared a day or two ago.

You're gonna want to rethink that when the front gets to you, lest you end up with a Christmas Story tongue/pole fiasco. Workman's comp is for shite at TD News.

There's a 20° difference between Oxford and Tupelo. 28° in Oxford and 48° in Tupelo.

Air is def getting colder... Not much wind to speak of yet other than a few gust, rain has stopped, Dog has joined me on porch.

Alexandria International registered a 43mph gust. It has had the two highest I've seen in LA so far.
ETA: The Greenville, MS airport had a 48mph gust.

It’s coming brother, currently -6 with a WCF of -31 in CoMo and the wind is howling. Fortunately, only 2” - 4” of snow and the wind has drifted all of it off the roads. But yeah, it’s a bit nippy out there.

Light rain in Walker now. Hoping this shite doesn't freeze over.
It’s gonna dry up fast. Everything was slick up here but the wind picked and dry air moved in and sucked all the moisture out.
