appreciate it - with where he is, if we get crippled for a few days - I feel like Murphy's law says it will happen then.

Secret is fresh titty milk. Not pre-pumped frozen

I am glad this thread has been stickied, thusly this "cold front" will end up only creating lows in the 30s and some light rain one afternoon next week.
Otherwise, we would have all been freezing our nuts off in knee deep of snow and ice.

It's Mike's weather page. AKA spaghettimodels.com.

He rounds up all the relevant models from .gov and private sector and organizes it on his website. I started following him in hurricane season years ago from links posted on TD.

18z GFS called off the dogs on all wintry precip. Huge outlier compared to the other models.

Not even in the same universe as its own 18z ensembles as most have a large winter storm. Expect the operational run to come back to reality.

Absolutely. You can throw that run in the trash and forget about it

7 ° forecast on Tuesday in WNC. Just got up here and there is still snow on the ground from this last round. Keep these unhoused folks in your thoughts and prayers. If you can, support one of the real groups helping out. Red Cross etc. isn't it. Don't let the NGO's take a penny.
