Why would you assume that everyone holding student loan debt is/was irresponsible? I worked through college and had to take out loans to bridge the gap. They’ve long been paid off, but they were certainly a small burden those first few years out of college. Couldn’t care less that others would benefit from this.

I’ve already dropped to minimum payment after Biden won.
But I’ve refinanced so I’m not sure if I even get help.

Government creates a student loan crisis by subsidizing all student loans upon default
Unintended consequences of doing so are colleges are free to charge whatever they want for tuition and banks/the government have no risk when loaning out the money; and people pull out more and more loans to go to college
And now they want to implement an extremely unfair policy that doesn’t even solve the root problem of that government interference made college prohibitively expensive; but certainly will only make the root problem worse and also continue to devalue our currency.
The people running the show in this nation are absolute morons.
Unintended consequences of doing so are colleges are free to charge whatever they want for tuition and banks/the government have no risk when loaning out the money; and people pull out more and more loans to go to college
