Glad I got rid of that crap. YouTube tv was what I should have gone to long ago.
Just wait until YTT starts having to deal with the same issues as cable systems and TV stations wanting more from YTT for the carriage of their channel.
Right now the networks are controlling carriage on platforms like YTT, the FCC is looking to put that control back with local TV station operators so they can get a piece of the new pie that is virtual cable systems.
But If you think about it, there really are no more “local stations”, they are stations that are owned or managed by large station groups like Gray, Hearst, Nexstar, or network owned and operated stations by individual networks.

They already had a problem with ESPN/ABC a couple of years ago. They lost ESPN right before bowl season started. I dropped YTTV and got HULU, but I believe ESPN was back on the air the next day

it’s a Baton Rouge thing. DirecTV hasn’t had NBC in the Baton Rouge market for at least 6 months.
Been longer than that. It’s been at least a year because there was no NBC for the entirety of the football season last year.

You mean a giant lightning attraction device just so I can maybe watch a few network TV shows?

People who don’t have a reliable internet to stream like rural areas etc
Starlink. If it’s not available for residential in your location yet, get the RV version. It has plenty of speed to stream. It’s 50 megs on the low end.
It’s kinda pricy at 135 a mo. But you get reliable internet connectivity with it too. If you are in a location where you can get residential… it’s a lil cheaper and faster.

Cut the Direct TV cord at the beginning of the season and went to YouTube TV. Saves money and no contract disputes.
