Disney loves fat people, hell they even go as far as to make them feel better by calling them "Pooh sized" people. It's a fat person playground.

My youngest son and I are fat-less humans. One of our favorite activities is counting fatties. We will exit the car, note silently what we see, and when we get back in the car, we will toss out a number to see if we have counted the same number of fatties. If we match, we celebrate with a big greasy burger, fries, and a milkshake = 6000 calories. Sometimes the borderline fatties throw off our count.

Did anyone say fattycapped yet?

If not

Fattycapped

Disney just got rid of the add kids to the front rule. Hopefully next they make the fat people stand around and wait. They need to.

I'm glad that Disney is so accommodating to people who need ECVs. I can't fault them at all. They are in business to make a profit and becoming more accessible to lazy or disabled people is smart.

It isn't like those things are cheap to rent either. Disney rents them for $50/day. Lazy mom and dad, for a week, you do the math.

I have tried to just stop getting frustrated with the laziness and entitled attitude of the people in this country. It isn't the president or the healthcare system or the school system, it's the people. The people in America want the most for the least. Our society doesn't want to learn, but wants to be the highest paid. Doesn't want to produce the best products, but wants to charge the most and not allow outsourcing. A country of over 300 million and it seems like over 200 million constantly looking for the shortcut or handout.

Anyway, what really bothers me about the rampant use of those things is the safety issue. Alot of people don't use them every day and as simple as it seems, don't really know how to operate one. Often times, you see a kid riding on someones lap (obstructing the drivers view). When you have other small kids around, it just isn't safe. My daughter almost got run over by a woman in Animal Kingdom, with her ECV somewhere it wasn't supposed to be, while someone was on her lap and the lady looked at me like I was nutse because my two year was "running wild" on a playground in a theme park.

You know one of their guidelines is "no sarcasm"..

I learned alot over there and it helps, but I wouldn't recommend the place to anyone else. You have to be able to navigate through the BS to find what you need.

Oh, I know all about that seething cauldron of lunacy and its "rules." I'll tell (or show) my wife some of the Disney threads here and her response usually is: They'd get banned for that on Disboard.

This thread has never been done....

Though I am here too, and fat people on cscooters piss me off too, they slow everyone down.
Though I'm the arse with two able bodied kids on a stroller so I can push them and not worry about carrying them. I did all of Animal, most of Hollywood and five rides at Magic yesterday. Universal today then back to Dis on Tuesday.

I doubt I will reserve a park restaurant again, I don't like how it throws off my schedule, counter service from now on after this trip.

I'm on DIS as well. What I wasn't prepared for was this stupid as shite new Fastpass system. I did two passes at my first park, with hopes of doing one at the next. Only to find you can only FP at one park per day..
Then the new kiosk system sucks, by making it convienet, they made it to where the fast pass system is overused. The lines for them are so long, and so many using them that normal lines are even slower. I liked the old system, you went to the ride you wanted and got a fat pass. Now you pick the rides you want to FP and do it blind not knowing the wait times. Like I FP'd a ride yesterday that had a five minute wait time. My ap said 35 minutes, but there was no line.

Also a kid can ride Everest, but not the kiddie looking coaster in Dinoland?

But really the new FP system sucks so hard.
I also didn't like making an ADR, then have to wait thirty minutes with a pager for a table still. Did that for Fantasmic, and then lunch at cindy's Tuesday coming, but after that, no more ADRs.

I blame the government subsidies and corn industry for coming up with HFCS, fast food for playing on sweet as an addictive product America now craves to an absurd level in bread, and what should be more savory items than sweet. I blame an absurd amount of fat in everything we eat, even loaded in our salads. But more than anything, I blame our lack of portion control, and desire for quantity over quality.

The problem is less about the scooter getting to the buffet, as it is the buffet itself, or the buffet mentality.

Why you no eat no vegebal?

That is ridiculous.

It's only that persons fault for being fat.

I guy playing with one, ran into my stroller yesterday. It was empty.
thankfully.

I see I'm not the only one with a five year old in a stroller. I keep saying I feel weird about it, though my dad had me on his sholders when I was a kid, and I would rather push than carry.

I got both girls on Tower, and one on Everest yesterday. I'm loving the little daredevils. Though Tower got me queasy. I also came to realize I will never ride the toy story ride. Two years+ later and still 2-hour wait times. Oh well.

I'm here this week too. And, like you, I've never seen so many fat trashy people.

Can't wait to get back to Louisiana. Oh wait, most of Louisiana is here!

Next time we go I'm getting my boys to take pics with everyone in a scooter. Then break out the "My Bad I thought you were a character from Wall-E."

It didn't bother us. I think we had a pretty good system and the only thing we waited more than 20 minutes for was the Anna & Elsa Meet & Greet.

In time, you will be able to get more than three and make them in more than 1 park, but it takes some strategy on what you FP+ and when to maximize the value.

Basically, kids are good on most things until they have over the shoulder restraints and not a lap bar.

Everest and Tower of Terror have lap bars, Primevil Whirl, Space Mountain, etc. have over the shoulder restraints

I don't mind waiting 15 minutes if I show up 15 minutes early, but when I show up 15 minutes prior to my reservation and you seat me 15 minutes after, that pisses me off.
