It's odd how you rarely see them outside in a neighborhood- but go to one restaurant after 6pm and you get overrun by The Little People Whose Parents Allow Them To Roam From Table To Table.

My daughter plays outside all the time.
When she’s outside, I’m outside. No way in hell is she outside by herself.

Growing up in the 70s and 80s we NEVER wanted to be inside.......unless it was spaceport in Cortana or skate city on Florida Blvd.

When we take visits to the lake house, my kids are not allowed back into the house unless they need to use the bathroom or grab something to eat. Then again it is pretty easy when I am taking them out on the pontoon, paddle boat, 4-wheeler, snowmobile or UTV.

I let my daughter play in the backyard by herself when she was 4

Now that she is 6, she routinely goes to the neighbors by herself all the time

Kids take after their parents

How much time do you spend on your phone or tablet?

Mine play outside with their friends all the time. They are 12 and 10, and are allowed to roam the neighborhood alone. Main rule is to just let us know when they are leaving the house and to check in every once in awhile.

This is one of those typical misconceptions from Boomers that kids do not play outside anymore.

I saw some kids the other day tying a furniture dolly to the back of a bicycle and slinging kids down the street, bouncing them off the pavement; this totally warmed my heart.

Not that I know of. My wife’s son Jaxxton plays fortnite with his buddies all day, and on the weekends I usually watch him play while I’m drinking my soy milk

Time change has mine all messed up. Days too short after school/work. It sucks. But, rest of year they are outside everyday.

End this time change and leave days longer at the end.

Unfortunately, they do. The neighbor's kids are always outside making noise at times when I just want quite. I wish they go inside and play video games like we did when we were kids.
