House has the advantage at EVERYTHING. Blackjack is the closest to an even advantage.
I've had my best nights at the craps table, but made the most money at blackjack overall.
Don't take that to mean I've actually made money at a casino. I'm lucky enough to be pretty much even in my mediocre gambling career.

What people don’t understand about casinos is they make their money when you win. What I mean by that is they don’t pay you the amount you should win for the odds that you are playing. Say that the true odds of a bet should pay you 2:1 if there is no house edge. The casino changes the payout to basically whatever they want instead. Say it’s 1.5/1. Every time you win that bet the casino keeps .5 that it should pay you. Multiply that , add every other bet made in a casino. Casinos only go broke one way. If they don’t have enough players to cover payroll/ upkeep.

Casino don't need to cheat at all. The more people they bring in, the more they make. Which is why it's always an arms race for the nicest/best amenities.

Absolutely not! They don't have to and the law wouldn't allow it to happen.

I represented a casino about ten years ago. They told me 3% of people walk out with more money than they walked in with. They said if you treat it like a video game, you will have a good time. If you are there to earn, you will be disappointed. They always make money.
