I'm a lawyer and occasionally people call for consultations on matters, but mostly it is just an excuse to not get pressured into a quick decision.

Listen here now, my child. I'm beyond awkward. I'm a Problem Child and a Lost Cause.

Sit back and observe.

Never needed one either. Parents are still alive, not self employed, luckily not divorced, no car accident or insurance issues have come up.

I used a lawyer once. To get a speeding ticket downgraded to improper equipment. $300.

I needed a lawyer when a lying whore, that means woman, tried to rob my father’s grave.

Yes, but it’s my sister and uncle. Don’t know if that counts.

I really thought Gordon was my lawyer for life?

Now I guess my wife is a lawyer.

What if her and Gordon get mad at me?

I guess I will dial 111-1111, 222-2222, and so on until I find a lawyer.

My whole life is lawyers, I'll probably see 50 of them by noon tomorrow.

Most people that say something like "lemme talk to my lawyer first" don't have any sort of ongoing professional relationship with any attorney.

This guy gets it. Also, let me take this opportunity to say thank you for bringing the voice of reason to that MMA thread.

Of course I have legal representation. I am not a child. If you don't have competent legal representation in this world, then all I can say is good luck.

I know lawyers who I can call an ask for advice or refer me to someone else if I ever needed it, but I am not in a situation to where I can say "I am going to call my lawyer".

I am pretty sure most people who say that have been told "threaten them with a lawyer and they will do what you want, they don't want to be sued"

At 46 years old I’ve never needed a lawyer for anything. Am I missing something or is there a reason the average person needs to have a standing relationship with a lawyer?
