One of my best friends was shot 9 times in the chest with an automatic weapon. Sitting in his car at the car wash and some dudes he had issues with ran up and gunned him down. That was a pretty rough one to deal with. Also another good friend was shot in the head and put under a car...

Yeah the two stories I told were two people I knew for a long time, but I knew quite a few people when in HS and even several years after graduating, people who got shot.
One dude got pulled out of a truck, shot in the head and was left in the road dead.. This was in a neighborhood behind the old Bon Marche Mall.. Is it "mall city"? It was a few guys who went to school with me at the time. Evidently one of them thought they had a connection with a dealer.
One night over the weekend, they went back there, bought from someone and right after they bought, a few blocks down, I guess some people who might have been rivals with the people they saw them buying from, got in the road and they slowed down.. They robbed them, then the one sitting by the passenger side door got pulled out. Evidently he wasn't easily giving up his shite, and when they got him out, they shot him and the other guys in the truck took off.
By the time the cops got there, he was in the road dead. No one was around. They never arrested anyone.

This is where I knew you were full of shite. How did you follow your dad? Your neighbor had a wheelchair ramp up to their house?
Full of shite, again. This only happens in movies and tv. You honestly think IRL they let dead people arms hang lifelessly off the stretcher?
They zip the body up in a body bag, they don't cover it in a white sheet on the stretcher, and then they strap it down.
And weird how you just happen to know exactly word for word what all these people were saying to each other in the moments leading up to these "shootings", and the exact details of all these incidents.
I guess when you're stuck in a wheel chair with nothing to do you have an active imagination.
But maybe use all that time to make the details of your BS realistic.

Yeah, I know someone who got shot. When we were around 11 or 12, a neighborhood kid was shot and instantly killed by another neighborhood kid. They were screwing around with gun.

A few. Most interesting was a neighbor whose (likely drunk) buddy accidentally shot him when they were squirrel hunting.
For weeks, he would work shotgun pellets out of his skin on the neck and shoulder area. He kept a saucer on the kitchen table with several pellets in it.

Went to high school with a guy that was a very good baseball player. Got several letters but went and played JUCO first. Got a little too thuggy in college (he was a preppy kid in high school) and ended up shooting himself in the knee while trying to act like a badass. Baseball career ended right there.
