no and I'm not sure if I ever will.
Dad was owned a couple businesses and he did quite well. He sold them and is retired now, still making big bank off of the nest egg which is invested.
If I don't start a side business on my own I doubt I'll ever surpass his income unless I get promoted up to the executive level in my company (which has over 300k employees).

Right now, yes. A bit over $200K. When my dad was my age? Hell no. He made what I'm making now in the 1980s. And he did it by busting his arse blue collar style.

Mom, yes.
Dad, yes.
Stepmom, no.
But I'll catch my stepmom in a couple years.

Significantly more... Go to college, kids.

No. That would be very difficult for me to do. I would basically have to win a lottery.

Worked for my dad, built up his company, made him a millionaire, then he meets a new broad and cut me loose. Then to pour salt in the wound he builds a custom $300,000 houseboat right after.
Some people are real dicks i swear.

Same here, going by where they were at right before they retired.

Yes, both of them combined. They were teachers who retired in the late 80s. But they were both in their 50s when they retired so I guess the joke is on me.

Make more - but expenses are WAY more than my parents.
They built one of the first houses in Sherwood Forest subdivision back in the day for about $30,000...
I'm paying close to that in school tuition. (Thanks Judge Parker)

No, and I probably never will. They each make more in a month what I make in a year, and I do just fine.

Not even close. He's the co-president of a corporation that was started by my grandfather in 1950. He also has lots of income off land that he also inherited.

I make about the same per hour. But he's a plant operator, so with the amount of overtime that he works, he'll come in very comfortably ahead of me.

Yes.
Three times both combined.
I grew up fairly poor.

I make about 30% more by myself than my parents do combined.
When you add my wife it is about double what my parents make. They are 56 and we are 30.
No college degree for me, wife has bachelor degree.
Mom has a masters degree and dad has a bachelor degree. Too bad they picked degrees that don't pay shite.

I make more than my mom. Unsure about my dad. I think he's trying to slow business down and keep just a few core clients. He's ready to retire.
They definitely have more unearned income from rental property, capital gains, etc. than me.
