Gaggia Titanium is my choice. Grinds the beans, makes the coffee and cleans itself in less than 30 seconds.

I hate the coffee that comes out of the Keurig. My wife likes it but to me the taste is no where near the same as a traditional drip style 12 cup pot. Not to mention those Kcups are expensive.

I keurig isn't really for someone that needs many cups in a short period of time. If you have several people at an office that all like to drink coffee it is cheaper and quicker to make a pot of coffee. Let's say it's a small office or home with 1 or 3 people and you know a pot won't get drunk, then maybe a keurig is a better option. If you are a heavy coffee drinker with a several cups a day habit it's probably better just to get a normal coffee maker
A lot of keurigs do have an option to make your k-cup taste stronger if some people find the taste too light

I grind my own beans and use a French press.

French press or nothing. Everything else is garbage. Especially keurig.
After just finishing a 13 car trip with just a car sick dog, I remembered why I quit drinking only French press. Sometimes, you gotta be able to drink a cup of roadside swill to stay alive. I was in rough shape the last couple hours.

Grind beans, drip coffee. Better than expensive coffee makers.
Nothing beats a main street diners coffee at 9 am after a long night on the town and little sleep.

The main problem is that grounds of coffee have no time to adsorb the water. It's the design of the Keurig pot itself.
In a traditional pot, the coffee is like filter material that adsorbs the water and drains coffee into a pot. The longer that process happens, the more coffee you're actually extracting out. The quicker that process happens (like a Keurig) - the weaker your coffee will be.
I find that Keurig coffee tastes like a watered down wannabe espresso shot with coffee that's too light roast to be an effective espresso shot.

I have no problem with the taste of either . If you want strong coffee, you'll have to use multiple K Cups

If you think Keurig coffee is the best, you don't really like coffee.

We had a Keurig at a place I worked and I tried every possible thing to improve the taste. Nothing worked. Your solution simply gives you 2 portions of the same shitty coffee.
I broke down and bought a cheapo regular coffee maker.

Keurig makes coffee flavored water. It is totally lacking the body and depth produced by other more traditional methods.

I own a Capresso drip brewer and a conical burr grinder. The beans are from central Kenya and the finished product is every bit the equal of what I can get at a top coffee bar.
What's so inconvenient about brewing coffee the right way? Just grind some beans, pour water in the hopper and press a button. Is that really so difficult?
The word "Keurig" is as distasteful as the "coffee" it produces. The word even sounds like someone vomiting. The guy who invented it regrets doing so. Keurig users should never admit having one, and drink furtively in a dark corner to hide their shame.

Drip Community Dark Roast is the best coffee in the United States. I have traveled the country and I have yet to find a better cup of coffee than the coffee we make every morning at my house.
There are lot of people posting here now from states other than Louisiana and I encourage all of you to refrain from commenting if you have not tried Community Coffee.
I am so glad Southwest Airlines adopted Community as their in flight coffee even if it isn't the dark roast.
When I have time I do love coffee made in this pot
