There was an interesting WSJ piece about how fortnite is engineered to be as addictive as possible. The more people that play the more data they gather, analyze and then make adjustments to get people to play more and more.

Like I said, I haven't really been a big video game person so Fortnite is my first battle type game. And I don't have a console, so if there isn't an app for it then I can't play it.

Yeah I play Fortnite and ain't ashamed to admit it. The game is fun as hell and I play with my boys from college, so its an awesome way for us to stay in contact all while living all over the country.
I play on Xbox.
