I’m at the top of that big red polygon on the cleco map. Power been out for an hour. Could hear tree limbs snapping and transformers blowing pretty regularly around 5 am. I would say 40-60 mph gusts. Good thing we just got the weather alert about high winds.

When I was searching for my first house, a gas stove was a must. I eventually caved because I liked the house and location of this place and there aren’t as many gas stoved houses where I was looking in Mandeville.

My wife is freaking out because we have a chest freezer full of breast milk. I have a new generator I got 2 years ago and still haven't unboxed. Guess it's time to bust it out.

Chest freezer is good for a day or two without power. Just do not open it up
