I an well aware , I work in that world. I was pointing out how so many think without knowing facts.

It's a workers comp injury so they can't sue their employer in Louisiana.

It looks to me like another truck was trying to get there but these bucket trucks aren't exactly nimble. You have to position the truck, then possibly lower the outriggers, then climb in the basket and lift up and over to get him. Not to mention that these aren't firefighters, they are electricians. They aren't trained in speedy rescues. The whole video was 41 seconds so there simply wasn't enough time. Had that bucket not been on fire, I'm sure another bucket truck would have eventually rescued the man hanging in his harness.
